Adam Blumenshein - guitarist, songwriter
Adam’s diverse background centers around his beautiful guitars and the many musical styles and phases they have brought him through, including punk, rock, classical, and traditional folk. While riding complex, moving rhythms and vocal oriented melodies, his songwriting weaves together these different genres, giving him a great musical vocabulary. Adam does not just play his guitars, but speaks through them. The notes dance from Adam’s strings, forming a poetic language that vulnerably gives voice to experiences, emotions and passions forged over many years of a life lived with an active mind and engaged heart. Even without lyrics or voice, his songs have real places to take you and true stories to tell.
Annie Crawford - vocals, songwriter
From gospel, choral, musical theater, jazz and pop to formal training, Annie grew up singing and performing since the age of 5 for the sheer fun of it. With a professional pianist for her mother, music was often more a part of life than dinner. However, a pretty voice is a dime a dozen, so until meeting Adam she never took her music seriously. The expressiveness of Adam’s guitar opened the door for Annie into the world of song writing, where her joy of singing could be wed with something more deeply personal and purposeful. Working with the melodious, landscaped movement of Adam’s strings, she discovered that the seemingly random diversity and depth of her life experiences had given her something powerful to say through song, something that seems to be resonating with those who hear it.
